I am having to take a break from this fun little hobby of mine due to a number of pressing obligations and other endeavors.

Each year Americans put 100 BILLION plastic bags into the land fills where they do not decompose but turn into noxious chemicals that destroy the soil of our Earth, and the creatures of our planet.

Now, it may require some effort for us to change such a long held habit of placing our purchases and groceries in plastic or paper bags. But, we can do it!

My hope is, that if we have environmentally friendly, fun, hip, or funky bags to use it may make it easier to make the switch to reusable canvas bags!

If we have an artistic visual reminder that we are doing our part to make the world a better place, we may keep in our consciousness an awareness of living carefully and gently on this planet!

I've hand painted reusable canvas bags specifically designed to replace the poisonous plastic bags to which we are accustomed.

My hope is to provide affordable, unique, and custom bags for each one who wishes to make the switch!

Until now, we had two choices: we can either purchase cheap bags promoting the store,or spend a small fortune for an attractive bag from a department store!

Good Bags, are different!

I hand paint each bag and charge only fifteen or twenty dollars (depending on size), per bag including shipping. Shipping and handling are included!

It is my hope that in a small way I can participate in bringing a few of us one step closer to changing our ways as we move toward healing our Earth!

The Story of Good Bags

Some time ago, I became aware of the harm plastic bags were inflicting upon our environment.

Americans put 100 billion, (that is 100,000,000,000) bags a year into land fills where they begin deteriorating into toxic chemicals that hurt the land and poison the creatures of our Earth.

I decided to use canvas bags for my shopping.

Just for fun I painted some reusable canvas bags to use for my personal shopping. My family, friends, neighbors, and others who noticed my bags loved the idea and asked me to paint some for them as well.

While there are some bags available at some stores, for some reason, I noticed that the hand painted, fun bags were a little more enticing, a little more compelling.

The more I thought about it, the more I wondered if hand painted bags may make it easier to make a switch to reusable bags. I contemplated the idea that using good bags helps us keep in our minds an awareness to keep doing what we can to live gently on the Earth.

Hence, my small attempt to move our world just a little closer to one of healing and goodness!

About Good Bags

Medium Good bags are made out of either natural, black, raspberry, denim, or light green durable canvas. Large Good Bags are only available in natural canvas.

Good bags are hand painted with a high quality paint and are completely washable. To reduce shrinkage, wash in cold water and air dry.

Large bags are approximately 15" long, 18" wide, and 4" deep.




Medium sized bags are approximately 14" long, 13" wide, and 3" deep.



Each bag is unique and one of a kind. I personally design and paint each bag.

I will gladly customize a bag for you with a name or personalized greeting.

If you have specific colors or an specific idea for a bag, please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to create a bag especially for you.

You can either request something similar to these designs, or inquire about a custom design.

I also will gladly personalize a bag with a name or greeting!

Most bags I create are natural canvas, but I also have spring green, raspberry, denim, or black durable duck bags.

My bags come in two sizes, either medium or large.
